Chris Remedios is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Principal at Remedios Financial Planning. Remedios Financial Planning offers fee-only, hourly rate investment and planning advice.
Chris graduated with a degree in Management Science and a minor in Applied Mechanics and Engineering Science from UC San Diego. She gets a thrill out of transforming client’s financial data into a story. That story creates a space to explore practical solutions and reconcile the emotions that arise.
Chris has a passion for sharing her financial planning knowledge and is dedicated to creating outreach programs for communities in need. She served as Pro Bono Director of the SF Financial Planning Association (FPA) for 5 years and volunteers as a financial counselor for Financial Planning Days, the Assessor’s Family Wealth Forum, Jewish Community Center programs, and more. Chris is proud to serve as a liaison with the SF Treasurer’s Office of Financial Empowerment and the San Francisco Public Library to bring financial counseling resources and financial literacy to San Franciscans.
In September of 2023, Chris was honored to recieve the National FPA Heart of Financial Planning Award. The award recognizes planners that engage in extraordinary work, contributing, and giving back to the planning community and the public through financial planning.
She had already been honored with the Heart of Financial Planning Award from the SF Chapter of the Financial Planning Association in December 2017.
She is proud to have launched the BayAreaFinancialPlanningDays.org website so that the Bay Area Public can find free planning resources they need in a safe environment.
